Shorte.st

Shorte.st offers publishers and social media users the opportunity to monetise the links to third party sites that they share through social media or on their websites.

Shorte.st (pronounced “shortest”) offers some of the highest rates for US visitors at close to $4 CPM, with rates for the UK, Australia, Canada, and Western Europe ranging $1.50-$2.20 CPM.

When a link is shortened with Shorte.st, users clicking on the link will see a full screen advertisement for at least five seconds before they are able to skip the ad using using a link in the cleverly designed frame at the top of the page. Here’s an example of a Shorte.st shortened and monetised link.

The publisher interface is the best designed of the interstitial networks, with a clean and simple layout, and the company’s laughing ninja logo. Shorte.st also offers an API to let publishers integrate their monetisation options in their web services, but unlike some other networks there is no option for publishers to use their own domains to brand the shortened links.

Payments are made on the 10th of every month, with publishers able to choose between PayPal and Payoneer to receive their money.
