Right Media

Right Media are relatively new to the online advertising game, although have emerged with an impressive ad serving solution, and offering competitive rates, especially for US traffic on most creative sizes.

Right Media offer a wide variety of ad sizes and types for traffic from all countries, although they specialize in US/Canadian traffic, for which they offer very competitive rates, especially for banners and skyscrapers ($0.35+ eCPM). Their support team is always very quick to respond and polite to any queries.

They have kept up with recent developments in online advertising by offering layer ads as well as text links. You are also able to filter out campaigns by category, advertiser or specific creative, although you aren’t able to check which creatives/advertisers are performing best for you by comparing their relative eCPMs, which is slightly frustrating.

They also do not offer a default mechanism, as they have a 100% sellout rate of their inventory. However, if you deselect a number of campaigns they will end up showing PSAs as there is no way to redirect this unpaid traffic to another network.

Overall, Right Media are a good network to work with and have an impressive ad serving solution, although the poor rates for international traffic and lack of default options means that they don’t quite compare to the likes of Fastclick.
